Friends of great deals and lovers of good bargains, the Great Sale of Merchants is back for a second winter edition under the sunny skies of Marseille. Mark your calendars for Saturday, March 7, where you'll find loads of items at super low prices, a friendly atmosphere, and music galore.
Great deals that bring Marseillais together
A must-attend event in Marseille, the sale is back with a special winter edition, inviting the city's merchants to showcase a variety of items at unbeatable prices right in front of their shops. It's an open invitation for all Marseillais and visitors alike to stroll through various pedestrianized neighborhoods in the city center, hunting for (very) good deals.

Meeting points will be, as usual, by the Vieux-Port, in the Opéra district, as well as in the Rome-Castellane district. And because the more, the merrier: the village core of Mazargues will also be part of the fun again (with lots of stalls around Rue Raoux), this year joined by the Saint-Barnabé district and Place du 4 Septembre. Place du Général de Gaulle will also be transformed into a 100% children’s village, filled with lassos, bouncy castles, wooden games, and all sorts of workshops.
Craftsmanship and solidarity on the agenda
In addition to the great deals offered by vendors, the Grande Braderie also invites the people of Marseille to celebrate local craftsmanship with the Artisan Square, set up all day in front of the Opéra, with its ceramics and more.
Yes, illustrations and jewelry galore! It will also be a great opportunity to do some good with the SAMU Social and its clothing collection stand at Place Lulli. You can bring along any clothes in good condition that you no longer wear (a little room in your closets for great finds!) and they'll be distributed to the most vulnerable people during the outreach efforts of the associations.
