The Masquerade Ball of the Scoundrels: a big glamorous slap

Let’s just say it right away: La Place des Canailles doesn’t do things halfway for New Year’s Eve. The place completely transforms into a film set, with its Venetian masks, red velvet curtains, and dimly lit atmosphere that oozes mystery. Arrive by 8 PM to enjoy a festive dinner, just to fill up the stomach before the intense night ahead. On the menu are delightful treats like lobster rolls and pear-foie gras bites that are sure to impress. But the real joy is the lineup of performances planned for the evening: magician, live saxophonist, violinist with a dancer... It feels like we’re in a Venetian palace, but we’re right here in Marseille. To accompany this exceptional night, FAF LARAGE, DJ DJEL, DJ DAZ, and K-MELEON MC will keep the energy high until 4 AM with the.
grand hits of the last decades to keep the dance floor buzzing without a break. Please note, formal attire required and limited seating, so it’s best to book quickly. Starting at 35€ if you arrive before 9 PM.The Masquerade Ball of the Rascals

Nhow Marseille: the immersive experience by the sea
The Nhow makes a big splash this year with a concept unlike anything seen before in a Marseille hotel: an immersive dinner-concert organized with Les Soirées d'Eliane, and the program is truly enchanting. It starts with a piano solo lit by 2,000 candles featuring iconic film scores, then the atmosphere builds up with jazz, tango, and action movie pieces. And the finale? A singer joins the pianist to belt out ABBA together with the entire audience. Just imagine the energy during the countdown! Between performances, guests can enjoy a five-course gourmet menu crafted by chefs Adel Dakkar and Nicolas Preud'homme. And after midnight, it’s a DJ set until the break of dawn. The little extra clever touch: the option to reserve a sea-view room for €240 so you won’t have to head home. Honestly, for a first-time experience in this hotel, it sounds absolutely amazing!

Cabaret L'étoile bleue: go off the beaten path

We’re completely switching gears with the show offered by L'Étoile Bleue. Here, there’s no endless champagne or glitter everywhere, but rather a genuine artistic creation that tells the story of Lina, a musical theater student who finds her voice at a karaoke bar. It blends singer, dance, and theater, and it’s clear the artists really let loose in this production. The plot plays on the contrast between the strictness of a school and the freedom of a bar run by Gloria, a former music hall star. What’s really cool is that we get to see the cabaret performers in a new light, in a show that breaks the usual New Year’s Eve codes. For those who are tired of the typical formats and want to experience something more intimate and creative, this is definitely the option to consider. It’s a bold artistic gamble to kick off the year in style!

Maison Yellow: when the 90s come back in force
See this post on Instagram
For all you Spice Girls and VHS nostalgics out there, this one's for you! Maison Yellow at Docks Village is all about the Back to the 90's theme for this end of year, and it's bound to be a blast. The place still sports its usual pop and colorful look, but now there’s a DJ spinning the hits from that fabulous era!all evening long. On the plate, the chef really brought his A-game with a €79 menu that perfectly blends elegance and generosity. The pan-seared foie gras flambéed with Martell Cognac as a starter sets the bar right from the start. Next, you’ll be torn between the truffle risotto, which is ultra-comforting, and the scallops with Champagne emulsion. To finish off, there’s a delightful reimagined tiramisu with clementine or a chocolate yule log, paired with a glass of champagne to toast in style. A friendly evening that feels great, no stress, but definitely with flair, of course.
