A Thoughtfully Designed Space
Reflecting the vibrancy of the neighborhood, the Red Fish has transformed a former wine cellar into an iconic bistro, blending tradition and modernity. Behind this transformation is the trio of restaurateurs Daniel Lecocq, Serge Lecocq, and Romain Moraine, the founders of the now-famous tapas bar La Ruche on rue Sainte.

The team explains: “We completely reimagined the space of this old cellar to create a place with a 'bistro' vibe that encourages gathering and sharing around the counter. The idea is to offer a space that invites everyone to come together, in a cozy yet refined atmosphere.” And they absolutely nailed it, as today, Le Poisson Rouge Camas, with its warm and welcoming indoor and outdoor setting, is a hit with food lovers!

A Delightful Traditional Cuisine
Fans of delicate and refined flavors will be thrilled by the revamped traditional cuisine at Poisson Rouge, which highlights fresh and seasonal products. The menu features a selection of “fork plates”, a reimagined take on tapas that’s easy to enjoy and share—just with a fork! Right now, the menu includes duck ravioli with mushroom cream, butternut squash tatin, beef chimichurri, and fresh fish ceviche. As the team points out: “We refresh our menu every three weeks to surprise our guests with new flavors, all while staying true to our philosophy: freshness, seasonality, and sharing.”

At the Counter
On the "bar" side, Le Poisson Rouge Camas offers a refined cocktail menu featuring timeless classics like Pisco Sour, Pornstar Melon, Espresso Martini, and Bloody Mary, along with signature cocktails such as Frambuesa Sour and Spring Waltz. Every three months, Le Poisson Rouge also highlights a specific spirit, giving it a fresh twist in a unique house cocktail.
On the wine side, the team is dedicated to visiting various estate owners to carefully select their blends. Le Poisson Rouge proudly showcases rare references, often reserved for wine merchants, sourced from small to medium-sized estates in the Loire, Burgundy, and the Southwest.

Le Poisson Rouge keeps on innovating with chef residencies, tasting aperitifs with passionate winemakers, and specialties (shellfish, etc...). Its various gourmet events offer unique moments that bring life to the bistro. On Monday, December 2nd, Poisson Rouge will be exceptionally open and will host an Apero & Shellfish evening starting at 5 PM in a festive and friendly atmosphere.
