A Week to Revolutionize Fashion

Creative workshops, pop-up shops, and unique fashion shows: for one week, Marseille will pulse with the rhythm of ethical textile innovation. Led by the sustainable fashion collective Baga, which unites over 70 committed participants in the Sud region, the first Fashion Week in Marseille aims to raise public awareness about the environmental challenges linked to the textile industry.

And there’s a sense of urgency: the fashion industry accounts for 8% of global CO2 emissions, and projections are not getting any better. After Copenhagen and London, which have already begun their transition to greener fashion, Marseille wants to carve out its own style: more engaged, more local, and more sustainable.

A Fashion Week for Everyone

The highlight of this unique fashion week: a grand show organized by the responsible fashion school Studio Lausié, on Saturday, June 14. On the catwalk, 24 young designers will showcase collections entirely created from upcycled materials.

Great news: this new kind of Fashion Week will be accessible to everyone! Whether you're a dedicated fashionista or just curious to see how fashion can be ethical, come to Marseille in June 2025 for a first edition that's sure to make waves... of style and awareness!
