From the moment you step in, the audience is invited to stroll among decorations reminiscent of tents and performance stages, where artworks, sparkling costumes, and unusual objects come together.
Unique Creations
Visitors discover pieces from the Mucem collections, alongside exceptional loans from prestigious museums such as the Musée d'Orsay, the Centre Pompidou, and the Picasso Museum. Renowned artists like Picasso, Niki de Saint Phalle, and Charlie Chaplin are also celebrated, alongside iconic figures of the circus. The exhibition explores the duality of the lives of entertainers, contrasting the brilliance of performances with everyday reality, offering a reflection on the human condition and the quest for freedom. Guests are invited to dive into this poetic universe and feel the emotions of shows from the past.
