Canopea was born in Marseille over 12 years ago and is now almost more well-known and recognized abroad than on its own land. To set the record straight and unveil the universe, talent, and expertise of this small two-faced entity, here is a focus on Canopea Design & Canopea boutique.

Anais Ruiz, founder of Canopea starts her journey at the Beaux Arts of Marseille. Coming from Carpentras, in the Vaucluse, she falls in love with this city of a thousand faces. After a thesis on Land Art, she begins a training in floral design. Following this, she opens her first boutique on rue Sainte. She primarily works with fresh flowers, a perishable commodity that is difficult to manage.

She finally closes her "first baby" two beautiful years after the opening and pays a final tribute to it through a vegetal wall she crafted herself as the ultimate showcase. She then catches the eye of the company Ricard (which, in Marseille, is never too far away!), who offers her a large-scale project (covering 80m2 of ceiling with flowers) in a highly renowned establishment in St Tropez. A stepping stone that will change her life and that of Canopea Design.

Over the years, Anaïs specializes in custom weddings and events for individuals or companies, working alongside the top Wedding Planners in France and even abroad! With over 700 events under its belt, Canopea Design can still boast of never having offered two similar services. With a keen sense of customization, Anaïs and her team go above and beyond to fulfill their clients' wishes. From table art to haberdashery, glassware, and guest gifts, what Canopea can't create, it finds and sources for an unparalleled authenticity. These unique items will end up on the shelves of Canopea the boutique.
