An innovative cultural experience on board and ashore
The giant museum boat has finally confirmed its stop in Marseille from June 6 to 18, 2024 before its 2-year journey in the Mediterranean. As the inaugural stage of this cultural Odyssey, the city of Marseille will have the opportunity to enjoy a rich and multidisciplinary program with performances, concerts, film screenings, dance shows, culinary experiences, workshops, and poetic interventions. A real cultural village will be set up ashore, while on board, an absolutely spectacular exhibition will take visitors straight into the female figures of Mediterranean civilizations through 70 masterpieces from the Louvre collections.

« This festival will encourage new forms of access, participation, and engagement from the public. It is a collective adventure that will embark cultural actors, associations, artists, and citizens in a large-scale dialogue on contemporary societies during each journey. » Bruno Julliard, General Delegate of the Art Explora Foundation
A project mindful of environmental issues
In both its programming and the organization of events, Art Explora is committed to an environmental and societal approach. That's why the museum boat is a catamaran that will sail the Mediterranean using wind power, significantly reducing its carbon footprint!
