Eclectic Screenings

From Greece to Spain, from Sicily to Egypt, passing through Tunisia and Lebanon, this series of screenings offers the opportunity to (re)visit classics as well as more contemporary films, and other cinematic gems. Here, we discover a sunny Mediterranean, somewhat violent, marked by patriarchy but also by the empowerment of women. A Mediterranean that juggles between history and modernity.
On the schedule: we start with a dive in the open sea with The Big Blue by Luc Besson, Saturday, July 6th at 9:45 pm, then we travel from Andalusia to Algeria with Exiles by Tony Gatlif on Saturday, July 13th at 9:45 pm. Next, head to Sicily with L'Avventura by Michelangelo Antonioni, Saturday, July 20th at 9:45 pm. We will also see the film Dark Waters by Youssef Chahine on Saturday, July 27th at 9:45 pm. And finally, Under the Stars at...igues from Erige Sehiri on Saturday, August 10th at 9:15pm, and Caramel from Nadine Labaki on Saturday, August 24th at 9pm. Free entry subject to available seats (in other words, first).

Come one, come all! It's first come, first served. 😊
