You’ll get to enjoy unique screenings, premieres of feature films that were presented at the festival last May. The events will take place in Paris, Marseille, Lyon, and Nantes. In Marseille, the charming cinemas Les Variétés, La Baleine, and Gyptis will welcome you from October 3rd to 5th, 2025, for six unforgettable and incredible screenings!

Over 30 Years of Existence
Every year since 1993, the ACID — Independent Cinema Association for its Distribution — takes part in the International Film Festival of Cannes and presents a carefully selected lineup of feature films, both fiction and documentaries, from the four corners of the globe. The goal: to give these independent works of the 7th Art the visibility they deserve and to find distributors so they can be showcased in cinemas all over France.
A Rich and Eclectic Program
Get ready because the lineup promises to be fabulously rich! The festivities will kick off on Friday, October 3, 2025, at the Variétés, with a screening at 8 PM of La vie après Siham by Namir Abdel Messeeh, a poignant story of grief between Egypt and France. On Saturday, October 4, at 4 PM, Drunken Noodles by Lucio Castro will explore the themes...
tiques of love, desire, the body, and the ephemerality of things, at Gyptis. At 6 PM, it’s at La Baleine that Entroncamento by Pedro Cabeleira will take us on a journey through a most unique gangster story. At 9 PM, the film Laurent dans le vent by Anton Balekdjian, Léo Couture, and Mattéo Eustachon will introduce us to a man in search of meaning.
