Imagine a dance floor where traditional nursery rhymes mix with electro beats, under the skillful fingertips of DJs Franck and Teddy, equipped with synthesizers and drum machines. On April 24th, from 10 am to noon, the Marché Gare offers a "Baby boom" for children aged 3 to 6. It's a golden opportunity for the youngest to discover the joy of live music in an environment specially designed for them.

Babies on the dancefloor

"At Marché Gare, we want to create continuity in our cultural offerings," explains Alice Picot, the manager of cultural activities, as reported by Le Petit Bulletin. The idea? Allow parents, who are used to coming to the venue for nighttime concerts, to share a festive moment with their children. "It's a way to renew the musical experience for our regulars and introduce the youngest to contemporary sounds."

An environment designed for the little ones

Organizing a party for young children requires special attention. The team at Marché Gare ensures that everything is perfect: soft lights to not scare them, adjusted sound to protect their little ears, and a space furnished with cushions and mats so that every little party-goer can dance.rest as they please. "It's a real party for them, they dance, sing, and can even see up close how a DJ turntable works during impromptu workshops," adds Alice.

The next big event for children at the Marché Gare? Stay tuned!

Gare, known as "Même pas cap!", is set to take place on June 21, during the Fête de la musique. An opportunity to present shows specifically tailored for the little ones, a scarce offering in the city yet highly demanded by Lyon families. The "Baby boom" events at Marché Gare demonstrate that Lyon is a place where culture and family come together. By welcoming children to a space typically reserved for adults, Marché Gare doesn't just entertain; it may also be planting the seeds for future music lovers... Source: Le Petit Bulletin
