Behind this quirky and adorable idea is Ornella del Prado, the founder of the Dogstronomy concept.

The idea is simple: to offer dogs a culinary experience worthy of a real restaurant. On the menu, there's a huge outdoor buffet designed entirely for our furry friends, featuring between eight to ten recipes cooked by hand right on the spot. While humans watch—sometimes a little enviously—as the stars of the day enjoy their treats, the owners can also get tips from professionals on canine nutrition.

The brunch is part of the world of Dogstronomy, a Lyon-based project that aims to revolutionize dog food with fresh, artisanal cooking. This adventure started from a simple frustration: the inability to offer delicious, home-cooked meals to their dog Loki during restaurant outings.

To tackle the issue, Ornella del Prado launched Barkette, a catering service entirely dedicated to dogs. Here, no industrial kibble in sight: the recipes are made with fresh, local ingredients tailored to each dog's profile. Weight, age, and any allergies are considered to offer a customized diet. This approach is increasingly attracting owners who care about their furry friends' well-being.
