3,000 kilometers of hidden gems to explore

With the Grand Tour Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region transforms into a gigantic playground for adventure lovers. Presented as a first in France on this scale, this concept combines a ready-to-go itinerary with a free mobile app to guide travelers through 12 departments. The idea is straightforward yet incredibly effective: to offer an immersive, flexible, and accessible experience, whether you’re heading out for a weekend or planning a stay for several weeks.

The journey unfolds over a 3,000 km route, divided into 28 stages and connecting 43 must-see sites. Behind these numbers lies a promise: to rediscover a region with a thousand faces. From the shores of the lake of Annecy to the peaks of Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, passing through the vineyards of Beaujolais and the thermal waters of Vichy, each stage becomes an invitation to slow down and savor the moment. The app also offers ideas for accommodations, restaurants, and visits, turning every stop into a real discovery.

An app designed for free-spirited travel

More than just a simple GPS, the Grand Tour app aims to deliver a personalized experience. Customizable routes, tailored suggestions, quizzes to enrich your visit... everything is designed to match your pace and desires. And great news for slow tourism purists: the journey can also be done partially by bike, on foot, or in an electric car.

This project perfectly aligns with current trends: freedom, proximity, and immersion. In a context where over 80% of visitors are already exploring the region by car, this Grand Tour structures an existing practice while enriching it. A version 1 set to evolve, with an eye on international expansion.
