Lello

Located in Lyon since early 2020, Carmelo is the first Lyonnais restaurant of the Big Mamma group. So, you can expect amazing decor, dishes prepared with finely selected products from all over Italy, and the entire team is Italian and speaks with that beautiful singing accent. It's a total immersion in the land of good food and great cocktails with an unbeatable quality-price ratio!

Casa Nobile

On the charming Place de l'Hôpital, La Casa Nobile is a slice of Sicily in the heart of Lyon. Authentic and traditional, the restaurant's decor sets the stage for delicious dishes with the sweet scent of Italy. On the menu: platters of mozzarella to share and many typical dishes such as vitello with small Mediterranean vegetables and spaghetti with clams. You definitely get your money's worth here, as the portions are generous. And what a joy to lounge on this lovely terrace...

La Scala Siciliana

Let's head to the 3rd arrondissement for the beautiful family story of La Scala Siciliana. This restaurant, run by two Sicilian brothers (who are super welcoming by the way), has been awarded the prestigious "Ospitalita Italiana" label for excellence. They offer traditional cuisine from their island. Delicious charcuterie plates, generously portioned salads, pappardelle with truffle cream, polpette alla Siciliana... The menu is full of culinary wonders unknown to our French taste buds. While we love everything, a special mention goes to their pizzas and homemade tiramisu which are simply to die for... To top it off, a lovely little terrace on a quiet street.

Casareccio

Rising up on two floors, the trattoria Casareccio is one of the most famous addresses in the 6th arrondissement. Over the years, this place has become a must-visit, offering classic dishes with a huge selection of pastas and wood-fired pizzas, as well as many local specialties like osso-bucco or veal milanese. And of course, everything is fresh, homemade, and absolutely delicious.

Toto Li Vigni

Former Italian football star, chef Toto Li Vigni settled in Lyon over 30 years ago to become the most illustrious representative of Italian gastronomy in the capital of the Gauls. When it comes to Italian cuisine, this chef knows his stuff with authentic and typical dishes and a pizza dough that has made him famous thanks to a clever mix of 7 different flours. At Toto's, the whole menu is worth trying, just ask Annibale Fracasso di Torrepaduli, the general secretary of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Lyon!

At Antonio & Marco's, you'll find all the treasures of Italy: panozzos, antipastis, arancinis and Sicilian cannolos prepared with products directly imported from Italy, not to mention Neapolitan pizzas with homemade dough made with their own sourdough (72h fermentation) and organic flour. In addition to the flavors, the experience promises to be just as incredible in the restaurant, with a 100% Italian staff and a lively atmosphere from morning to night. Neroliva

We are in the paradise of Italian food, so why change neighborhood? Still in the 6th arrondissement, the restaurant Neroliva has specialized in southern Italian recipes. In the kitchen, Chef Pippo (originally from Puglia) cooks up a variety of delicious dishes including the inevitable pastas and pizzas, but also specialties from his region such as parmigiana di Melanzane or gnocchi alla sorrentina. With this unparalleled know-how, the establishment has been labeled "Ospitalità Italiana" for several years.

Chez Carlo

As you enter Chez Carlo, you step into a big piece of Italian history in Lyon. In 1958, Lyon welcomed its very first pizzeria: Chez Carlo. Over 60 years later, the address still thrives in the Presqu'île and on Rue Palais Grillet, in a universe with a sweet Italian fragrance between authentic decor and majestic mythological frescoes. While Chez Carlo is one of the best Italian restaurants in Lyon (with its antipasti, homemade pastas, risottos in all flavors, and specialties like osso buco in a pizza crust and veal escalope milanese with tomato pasta), the spot also offers some of the most delicious pizzas in the city. A true little Italian paradise in the Presqu'île that continues to delight even the most discerning taste buds.
