Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience, the internationally acclaimed exhibition, has finally arrived in Lyon! Since February 21, at Studio 24 in Villeurbanne, the master of post-impressionism invites visitors to embark on a unique sensory adventure. Thanks to techniques like anamorphosis and 360° video mapping, his paintings come to life, revealing unsuspected perspectives and details. Highlights not to miss include a life-size recreation of The Bedroom, a space dedicated to the artist's Japanese influences, and a focus on his works from the south of France (including The Starry Night over the Rhône and Blossoming Almond Tree). But the experience doesn't stop there! In an immersive room dedicated to this journey, over 200 artworks sparkle in sound and light, thanks to a collaboration with more than 40 digital artists.s international. All enhanced by breathtaking video mapping technology.

The Most Historical: Pompeii, Immortal City at La Sucrière
Since the end of 2024, Lyon has been hosting an exhibition that will transport us to the heart of one of the most mythical ancient cities. The exhibition starts in the year 79 AD, on the fateful day of the famous eruption of Vesuvius that marked the destruction of the city of Pompeii. But in this very special visit, the bodies frozen in ashes come back to life through the features of a family, who accompany us throughout our discovery. Far from the image of ruins and petrified statues, the immersive exhibition allows us to relive the vibrant daily life of the Pompeians before everything changed. From artisans to doctors, as well as architects, farmers, and surveyors, we dive into the excitement of this city where the grandeur of the Roman Empire was built. Until May 4, 2025, the Museum of Printing and Graphic Communication in Lyon is hosting a special exhibition dedicated to Jean-Luc Godard, the master of cinema and words, before it closes for renovations. Titled "Jean-Luc Godard, the Typographer Behind the Camera", this exhibition explores a lesser-known side of the filmmaker: his obsession with typographic characters. Antique Olive, Helvetica, Verdana... These fonts were not chosen at random, but resonated with the technological changes of his time. In Godard's work, words burst forth on screen: titles, credits, filmed signs... His cinema was also a graphic laboratory. The exhibition invites you to dive into this lesser-known dimension of his work, complete with various highlights.all the original sketches from his Histoire(s) of cinema and rare documents related to his very last film, The Book of Images.
