In Lyon, we already have an abundance of bouchons, cozy wine cellars, and Michelin-starred restaurants, but we never say no to a new gem. The latest arrival is sure to make a splash. Its name resonates like a well-meaning toast: WineYouWant. This hybrid space of 1000 m², inaugurated on Thursday, September 18th, aims to redefine what we call a “temple of gastronomy.” Just that! The location? The former Serin college, a beautiful building from 1885 nestled between the slopes of Croix-Rousse and the banks of the Saône. Let’s just say the setting is already setting the stage.

A spacious restaurant with 110 seats
Behind this large-scale project are three friends and food enthusiasts: Vincent Galy, Pierre Bideau, and Grégory Palayer. Their goal? To create a vibrant, generous, and festive place focused on a love of wine and culinary creativity. To craft the restaurant's menu, they've enlisted the talents of the highly respected Hubert Vergoin, former chef of Substrat, known for his boldness and sensitivity. At the heart of it all: 110 guests served every day, at lunch and dinner, in a stylish main dining room, a bright conservatory, and two terraces that are sure to be cherished once the warm weather returns.
