The Editor

Created in 1959 in Toulouse by Henri Gineste de Saurs and located in Rue de la République in Lyon since 1999, the restaurant L'Entrecôte offers only one dish on the menu: a rib steak with fries, salad, and a secret sauce. So, that's the menu presentation done. Well, we'll still tell you a bit more! The rib steak is a quality piece of beef, cooked to perfection and served with crispy shoestring fries. The salad is simple but very well seasoned. And the secret sauce, shall we talk about it? Well, no, we won't talk about it, it's a secret, didn't you follow along?

Not less than 25 ingredients in the secret sauce

When it comes to wine, it's the same story! The restaurant offers only one, a red wine from the Bordeaux cellars. But when it comes to dessert, don't worry, there are several options and they are another highlight of L'Entrecôte. The menu includes a selection of classic French desserts, such as the iconic Dame Blanche, the Colonel, and the Jamaican Surprise.

If you want to try a restaurant where you can enjoy yourself without any hassle, L'Entrecôte is an excellent choice. But beware, the restaurant is very popular and there is often a queue. So if you want to make sure you have a table, it's better to book in advance!
