The County is taking over Lyon for 5 days

After 7 consecutive years in the Jura, the event Le Temps du Comté is coming to Lyon for the first time from September 18 to 22. To celebrate this unique cheese that makes an entire region proud, there will be gourmet meals, fun activities, and tastings. One of the main highlights of this event will be the chance to sit around the massive iconic table shaped like a cheese wheel with 150 seats. This grand table will be set under the historic vaults of the Subsistances. It’s an event that will showcase star chefs and the Best Craftsmen of France to elevate this exceptional cheese.

On Friday, September 20th, the Best Craftsmen of France, Romuald Fassenet, star chef of Château Mont-Joly, and Joseph Viola, the cheekiest of Lyon's chefs, are joining forces for what promises to be a memorable dinner. For lunch on Saturday, September 21st, it will be the turn of Floriant Rémont, chef of Bistrot du Potager, and the bubbly Georgiana Viou, star chef of the restaurant Rouge in Nîmes, to take our taste buds on a journey through a variety of flavors. Finally, the lunch on Sunday, September 22nd, will showcase sustainable gastronomy with Gaëtan Gentil of Prairial and Maxime Laurenson of Rustique, two star chefs from Lyon who elevate nature on your plates.
