The Michelin Red Guide has just updated its selection for Lyon, once again confirming that the capital of the Gauls remains a major playground for ambitious chefs. While we wait for the much-anticipated shower of stars, this update serves as a very serious gastronomic teaser.
Addresses on the Doorstep of the Stars
In the 4th arrondissement, Le Limonadier and its chef Jorge Lara offer precise and generous bistronomic cuisine. This spot focuses on well-sourced products, clear plates, and most importantly, flavor. It ticks all the boxes to allure inspectors… and food lovers. In the heart of Vieux Lyon, the restaurant Les Loges is reborn under the leadership of chef Anthony Bonnet. Already starred before the renovation of the Cour des Loges, the establishment makes its return to the Michelin selection as an obvious choice. Many already see it as a future star once again shining bright.

With Accentué, Chef Ashwin Vijaykumar presents a bold, modern, and highly personal cuisine. Here, flavors shine with precision and character, much like the restaurant itself: committed, unique, and thoroughly contemporary. In the 6th arrondissement, Flavien Guarato crafts a delicate balance of seafood and vegetable inspirations at Mertensia. This elegant approach captivates with its balance and originality, perfectly in tune with the times.
