And the news that follows has plenty to excite the sweetest tooth among you: the famous pastry chef Pierre Hermé, nicknamed the Picasso of pastry and who recently presided over the Pastry World Cup at Sirha 2023, has opened a shop in Lyon since August 11th.

The arrival of the best pastry chef in the world in Lyon

Already established in The Village outlet village, Pierre Hermé has just opened a store in Lyon Part-Dieu train station. And when you know the pedigree of someone who was voted the best pastry chef in the world by the "World's 50 Best Restaurants" ranking in 2016, you can imagine that the corner should attract crowds. It's the perfect opportunity to (re)discover the chef's greatest creations such as his delicious macarons, irresistible cakes, and creamy chocolates.

An opening that is part of the major renovation of Lyon Part-Dieu station where around forty stores will be opening in the coming months, including Pokawa, Cafés Goneo, and the pizzas and salads from Basilic & Co which has just opened its doors at the station and for the first time in Lyon. It's safe to say that the summer body will quickly become a distant memory...
