After restaurants, grocery stores, and ice cream shops, the Casa Nobile family is expanding its presence in Lyon. In addition to opening an immense 500m² trattoria in the former auction house facing the flagship store next to the Grand Hôtel-Dieu, the Sicilian family will also be opening the doors to their very first café in April 2024, as confirmed by Actu Lyon. The Café Nobile will be located in the iconic former restaurant La Tassée on Rue de la Charité in the 2nd arrondissement of Lyon.
Sandwiches, pizzas, pastries, wines, and draft beers will be served at the café. Ugo Lonobile, son of Pierre Lonobile and nephew of Jean Nobile, the founders of Casa Nobile, enthusiastically revealed what this new café will be like: "It will be a place halfway between our grocery stores and a traditional Italian bar."Clients will be able to enjoy a meal, work with their computer, and savor sandwiches, slices of pizza, pastries, and homemade bread... Not to mention a nice selection of wines and draft beers.
If the exact opening date remains secret due to ongoing work, Ugo Lonobile is already looking forward to this new adventure, after a year marked by the loss of his father. "We have been through tough times, but we are ready to face new challenges and continue the Sicilian tradition of quality that has made our family famous."
A breath of fresh air that we welcome with open arms and can't wait to discover...
