Lyon loses a new (delicious) soldier… Open since 2017, the king of fried chicken Mike is getting ready to bid farewell after 6 years of loyal service in the capital of the Gauls. The restaurant will definitively close its doors on Wednesday, May 3rd.

Those who love fried chicken have surely stepped foot in Mike's in Lyon. Established since 2017 on Charité Street not far from Place Carnot, this undisputed temple of chicken has made many Lyonnais drool and daydream with its original and full-of-character recipes. But the time has come to announce today the definitive closure of this delicious address starting from May 3rd. In 6 years, Mike has successfully managed the audacious challenge of bringing back the nobility to chicken in the face of KFC, with impeccable quality made from grain-fed poultry, hand-cut fries, and homemade sauces (big shoutout to the cheddar sauce).

A final flight before the big leap

On the menu: burgers made with spicy corn flake breaded chicken (including the orgasmic Big Mike Burger with its supreme corn flake breaded chicken, pickles, bacon, white sauce, and light sweet lettuce) but also delicately sliced nuggets coated in peanut butter or Mac'n'cheese balls oozing with cheddar. In short, breaded nuggets in all shapes and sauces to delight the most hungry stomachs that have made the spot a success during these wonderful years.
