Lyon's gastronomy is getting ready to shine in prime time. Starting March 4th on Top Chef, airing on M6, a local chef will represent the colors of the gourmet capital: Viviana Pisacane. At just 28 years old, the head of Le Bœuf d’Argent is stepping into the big leagues.

Behind this rapid rise is a well-planned journey and a passion inherited. Born in Naples to a family of pastry chefs, Viviana started her training at the age of 18 at ALMA, in Bologna,

Parme, founded by the legendary Gualtiero Marchesi. She then hones her talent under the guidance of Michel Guérard and Éric Fréchon, before heading to Norway to work with Maaemo, led by Esben Holmboe Bang. In short, all top-notch experience!

A family adventure in the heart of Old Lyon

In Lyon, Viviana is turning her dream into a collective project. Having settled in the city since 2017, six years later she takes over an iconic and historic restaurant on the famous Rue du Boeuf: Le Bœuf d’Argent. Alongside her are her brother, sister, and brother-in-law. This is a place that breathes authenticity, hard work, and high standards, far from standardized kitchens. Here, we cook with heart, but also with the precision of a master craftsman.

This 17th season promises to be a vibrant tribute to Lyon's essence. A challenge will take place at the Abbey of Collonges-au-Mont-d'Or, in honor of Paul Bocuse. A strong, almost sacred symbol for all the contestants. Viviana will try to leave a mark and succeed Quentin Mauro, the last winner from the region.

With her talent, international experience, and early maturity, Viviana Pisacane is not here to just blend in. She represents a new generation of bold, skilled, and creative chefs, ready to shake up the norms.

is true to tradition. In Top Chef, she will proudly represent the colors of Lyon… and might just become one of the standout faces of this season.
