Since 2021, Trattino has set up shop in a former truck garage that has been transformed into a restaurant, café-bar, grocery store, and cultural space. With its 730 m², which includes a large terrace and a capacity to accommodate 350 guests, it has become the go-to place in Lyon for good food and sharing.

95% organic products and 100% local sourcing

Trattino's promise is simple: local, organic, and responsible cuisine. Here, 95% of the products are certified organic and come from producers located within 180 km of Lyon. This commitment makes Trattino the largest organic restaurant in France and the second largest in Europe.

Inspired by Italian trattorias, the menu embraces friendliness and generosity. Shareable antipasti, creamy burrata, homemade gnocchi, seasonal risotto, vegetarian lasagna, Milanese schnitzel, and of course, tiramisu… Every dish is crafted to highlight organic and local products.

Homemade cuisine with Italian flair

Behind Trattino, there are Ettore and Davide, two founders who were nurtured from childhood by their Nonna's cooking. From this legacy, they have kept the flavor of traditional recipes and the importance of togetherness, which they apply today in a modern, sustainable, and accessible way.

Trattino doesn't just cook; it highlights the amazing work of cooperatives, organic groups, and local farmers. The homemade gnocchi is a perfect example: a 100% Italian recipe made with 100% organic and local ingredients, crafted by passionate farmers dedicated to agroecology.
