The Editor

A true chalet inspired by the most beautiful Alpine villages

As soon as you pass the door of the Chalet, the atmosphere of the Grand Hôtel-Dieu transforms! You are transported into the enchanting, cozy, and authentic atmosphere of a true alpine chalet. Wood, the warmth of the virtual fireplace, mountain decoration: everything is combined for a total immersion in the spirit of snowy peaks. This privatizable chalet, from 6 to 10 people, is ideal for friendly moments with friends or family.

Comforting and Delicious Cuisine

Until March 3rd, the Epona restaurant is setting up an alpine chalet at the heart of the InterContinental Lyon - Hotel Dieu. The masters of the experience are none other than Executive Chef Mathieu Charrois and Pastry Chef Vincent Thomassin. They have created a menu that warms the heart as much as it delights the taste buds. Lunch, dinner, and even afternoon tea are moments of delight where alpine cuisine is in the spotlight.

On the menu: the Alpine Flavors menu with fondue, raclette, tartiflette, and regional charcuterie. (98€ per person, including a glass of Champagne Barons de Rothschild Cuvée Brut as an aperitif and the chef's appetizers); the Four-Course Alpine Menu with scallops, John Dory, deer, truffle, and exquisite desserts (119€ per person, with the same aperitif and appetizer offerings); and finally the Gourmet Break offered from 4pm to 6pm.With a sweet and savory whirlwind concocted by the pastry chef including tarts, pastries, cookies, and hot drinks (38€ per person).

An experience that has a cost but is worth living at least once!
