One of the best foodie spots in Lyon has just closed its doors. Ideally located on Rue Confort for nearly 15 years, the Korean Barbecue restaurant, known for its delicious Korean barbecues (served all-you-can-eat, please!), has now shut down. In place of the formerly welcoming (and slightly futuristic) facade, there’s now a white-painted window hiding what’s going on inside. And for the moment, we have no information to share about what will be taking its place.

So long to the Korean barbecue served on a huge plate where meats and vegetables cook simultaneously under the watchful eye of customers who get to manage the cooking to their liking. And the results were stunning: melt-in-your-mouth vegetables and incredibly flavorful meat. At Korean Barbecue, you could really indulge yourself with a all-you-can-eat deal for under 20€ from Monday to Friday lunchtime!
Who will take over Korean Barbecue?
The menu featured a variety of salads (endive, cauliflower, soy), sushi and maki, hot dishes (spring rolls, teriyaki salmon, dumplings, fried rice), and a wide selection of meats and fish to cook yourself (ribeye, chicken breast, shrimp, squid, cod,...). And even if it wasn’t claiming to be the most delicious cuisine in the world, customers certainly didn’t hold back from enjoying this great deal, as the restaurant was often packed (especially during lunch). But that was before.
. Now it’s just a matter of finding out who will take over this address, which has stood strong through the financial and health crises of recent years. We’ll share more details very soon...
