A festival dedicated to Italian gastronomy is coming to Lyon for 5 days

The International City of Gastronomy in Lyon has decided to treat us! After honoring Japan in its previous exhibition, the Lyon temple of gourmet delights, located in the heart of the Grand Hôtel-Dieu, is hosting the event "Italy on the Menu: Sano e Buono" which offers a multitude of activities for all lovers of Italian cuisine. On the agenda: conferences detailing the fascinating history of Italian gastronomy, tasting workshops where you can savor Italian specialties (such as oil and tiramisu), as well as immersive exhibitions and a film screening.

Tasting oils and tiramisus

You will have the opportunity to learn the secrets of the perfect tiramisu directly from an expert pastry chef, or to exchange with researchers on innovations in Italian cuisine. "« After Japan, this event once again demonstrates the openness and attachment of the International City of Gastronomy to culinary cultures from around the world and confirms the excellent relationship that Lyonnaise gastronomy maintains with Italian gastronomy », rejoices Jérémy Camus, vice-president of the Métropole de Lyon.
