After the Michelin Guide, Gault & Millau is undoubtedly one of the most respected culinary guides in the world. Each year, this institution scrutinizes over 6,000 of the most famous restaurants in France to establish a list of the best addresses in France divided into 6 categories: "original table", "gourmet table", "chef's table", "remarkable table", "prestigious table" and "exceptional table". And this year, two restaurants in Lyon and its surroundings were distinguished among the 79 best addresses in the country in the prestigious and exceptional table categories with 4 toques. These are the restaurant Le Neuvième Art (Lyon 6th) and the restaurant Paul Bocuse in Collonges-au-Mont-d'Or. Two Lyon tables at the top of French gastronomy! Located just steps from the Parc de la Tête d'Or, Le Neuvième Art is a gastronomic address. How succulent with a classy and distinguished decor. The restaurant, with two Michelin stars (oh la la!), invites you to discover a creative and colorful cuisine, showcasing seasonal products once again. Chef Christophe Roure - awarded Meilleur Ouvrier de France in 2007 - and his wife Nati promise a skillfully orchestrated culinary journey, blending classicism and modernity.

Paul Bocuse's restaurant, considered one of the best restaurants in France and the world, is located in Collonges-au-Mont-d'Or, on the outskirts of Lyon. It is famous for its classic French cuisine, generous portions, and long tradition of impeccable service. An address that needs no introduction and remains at the top of the culinary world despite losing its 3rd Michelin star in 2020, just a few weeks after the death of the iconic chef.
