Let's start with a quick historical reminder. The legend takes us back to the middle of the 2000s. Apparently not convinced by the Mexican recipe, the boss of a kebab in Vaulx-en-Velin then had the brilliant idea of creating a French version of the Mexican taco. In addition to the basic recipe made of meat, cold sauce, and sour cream, the gourmet adds fries and wraps everything in a rectangular folded wheat tortilla (not round like the Mexican taco). An "invention" that hits the mark and quickly crosses the borders of Lyon to land in neighboring Grenoble. A version supported by the New Yorker, which dedicated an article to it in 2021. "A mix of burrito and kebab" And after flooding the French market with their cheesy sauce, French tacos (or Lyonnaise ones) are now launching an assault on the American market. The Canadian brand Brick'N'Cheese, which already has locations in Sacramento and the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, is about to open its first location on the East Coast of the United States.Wow, have you heard the news? Brick'N'Cheese, the famous street-food joint from Vancouver and Toronto, has just opened a dark kitchen in Seattle! They're bringing their delicious treats to taste buds across the States. But don't confuse their French "bricks" with traditional Mexican tacos - they've got a whole new twist. Their "signature brick" is a flavor explosion: minced beef, fried chicken, fries, cheese, and chipotle sauce all come together for a mouthwatering feast. Enjoy!

From there to imagine Americans envying our Lyonnais creation, there is only one step that should be taken in the very near future...
