It's a real shame for the world of Lyonnaise cuisine, as well as for the iconic restaurant at the Hôtel Cour des Loges. This special place, found in a beautiful Renaissance building, is at risk of losing its Michelin star. Why? Well, all because of the renovation work that's been going on since 2022. This has caused a big delay in the planned reopening, which was originally supposed to happen in 2023. If only the restaurant had opened its doors sooner, they could have kept their star. But now, because of the unexpected delays, La Cour des Loges is only expected to welcome guests back in mid-2024. This unfortunate situation has led the Michelin guide to remove this wonderful gem of Lyonnaise cuisine from its list of starred restaurants.

A star to be regained as soon as the reopening

However, hope remains for chef Anthony Bonnet and his team. As soon as the reopening, there is no doubt that the restaurant will do everything to regain its place in the prestigious red guide. Meanwhile, all eyes are on the other starred establishments in Lyon, awaiting the next ceremony on Monday, March 18, 2024 when the new starred tables will be announced.
