This year, the best traditional French baguette from Rhône comes from Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon. Alain Perroud (EURL Douine) won first prize thanks to his golden crust, airy crumb, and the aroma of freshly baked wheat. Behind him, Nicolas Maligeay (L’Atelier d’Analou in Chaponost) took second place, followed by Baptiste Vauraz (Fournil & Fourneaux in Croix-Rousse) who completed the podium.
