Facing a jury of experts including the famous pastry chef Mercotte and the Lyonnais chef Grégory Cuilleron, the participants were divided into their respective categories. In the category of the best praline tart, Ernesto Sutter from Maison Bruno Saladino (Villefranche-sur-Saône and Lyon 5th) won the competition just edging out Jeremy Delore from La ferme du poulet (Villefranche-sur-Saône). For the best praline brioche, Pierre Viret from Réceptions de Lyon (Sathonay-Camp) delighted the judges the most. Lastly, the award for the best praline galette this year goes to Guillaume Flochon from Pâtisserie Flochon (Lyon 9th) who outdid Dominique Sena from Maison Terrasson (Lyon 2nd and Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon).
