The crème de la crème of true Lyonnaise cuisine can be found at Les 4G (Lyon 9th!). After awarding Le Café des Fédérations in 2019, La Mère Léa in 2020, La Meunière in 2021, Le Mercière in 2022 and À ma Vigne last year, the prestigious Prix Florent Dessus Véritable, which honors the best authentic Lyonnaise bouchon, has just been awarded to this family-run address that’s relatively unknown, located at 27 rue Gorge de Loup in the 9th arrondissement of Lyon.
A paradise of authentic Lyonnaise cuisine
Behind this funny name, you'll find an acronym meaning "Gnolus, Grands Gognands & other Gones". A temple of fresh, homemade, and local products, Les 4G has been around for 6 years, winning the hearts of lovers of our delicious cuisine. After crowning À ma Vigne in 2023, the Grand Prix Florent-Dessus (named after the regional media figure who passed away in 2018) has now rewarded Les 4G.

On the menu, we have all the greatest Lyonnaise specialties: bone marrow, Lyon-style tripe, quenelle, Bobosse's andouillette, kidneys, calf's head with Gribiche sauce, lamb's brain, homemade pâté croûte, or the must-try tablier de sapeur. It's a delightful concentrate of Lyon's cuisine and good vibes that we absolutely recommend you (re)discover over and over again, you little gluttons!

An Honorary Award for Lyon's Bouchons
