As usual, L'Internaute has published its ranking of the best high schools in France in 2024. The top high school in the country, with the highest score, is the private high school Stanislas in Paris, which has been the center of several controversies in recent weeks. Schools in the Paris region dominate the top of the rankings. It's not until the 24th spot that we see the first high school outside of the Île-de-France region, which is the high school Lacordaire in Marseille.

The ranking is based on data from the ministry, weighted with their methodology which takes into account 3 criteria: the pass rate at the baccalaureate, the access rate from the second to the baccalaureate within the establishment, and the rate of honors obtained by the baccalaureate graduates of the establishment. Only high schools that have presented more than 100 candidates for the baccalaureate exams are included. In total, 4,300 high schools in France (general, technical, and vocational) were studied.
