In 1850, when the trades in commerce were struggling to find their successors, Gervais Pigier took matters into his own hands and opened the first vocational school in France. That was 175 years ago! Since then, Pigier has never stopped innovating and adapting to meet the challenges of the professional world. In 2025, the school will celebrate its impressive anniversary in style: organizing the largest Urban soccer tournament among business schools, a commercial negotiation contest, masterclasses, inspiring testimonials, and a grand ceremony at each of the 31 campuses in the network. In Lyon, the event will take place this Friday, June 13, at Cirque Imagine. It's a fantastic opportunity to remind everyone that Pigier is much more than just a school; it's an institution focused on action.
A record employment rate
From BTS to Bac+5, every training program is designed to align with real-world needs. Management, commerce, HR, accounting, communication, ach...ats... everything goes through it, and especially, everything is experienced in a concrete way thanks to alternating training. Here, we don't just sit around waiting for a job to come to us: we build it during classes, at companies, and right from the first year. The result? 87% professional integration and 13,000 students in active training, supported by a network of 11,000 partner companies. Just that.

A school focused on support
But Pigier doesn't rest on its laurels. With its immersive platform Destinée, future students can test careers before jumping in, through ultra-realistic virtual missions. And this is just one of the many educational innovations implemented to match personal ambitions with market needs. Next step: the opening of a campus in Clermont-Ferrand next September. Because even after 175 years, the PIGIER adventure continues. Here, training goes hand in hand with passion, and alternation meets excellence.
