T-shirts, sweats, and polos: a stylish "blue-white-red" kit

Since Monday, January 13, the students of Paul Chevallier School in Rillieux-la-Pape have been proudly sporting a unique uniform, whether they are in kindergarten or elementary school. Each student has received 4 t-shirts, 2 sweats, and 2 dark blue polos adorned with the Rillieux-la-Pape crest, the name of the school, and a blue-white-red ribbon on the right sleeve, as explained to us by Actu Lyon.

The whole ensemble is offered for the first series, but for parents looking to expand their kids' wardrobe, it will require opening the wallet. It's a fun way to blend style and a shared identity, while trying out this new option until the end of the school year. The students of the Charmilles school will also get a chance to try on sizes on Thursday, January 16, and Friday, January 17. This is a crucial first step to avoid too-short sweatshirts or oversized polos in the classroom.

A Low-Key National Experiment

Led by the town hall of Rillieux-la-Pape and supported by a special initiative from the Ministry of National Education, this experiment could very well become a model. If the results are positive, Mayor Alexandre Vincendet plans to extend the uniform to other schools in the community. It's worth noting that this experiment has been accepted by the educational teams and the parents of the students.
