Lyon is getting ready to experience an extra magical adventure during the enchanting time of the Festival of Lights! Starting on December 7, 2024, the Palais de la Bourse, in the heart of the 2nd district, will become the stage for a magnificent sound and light show titled Genesis: The Story of Creation. And it’s almost certain that this mesmerizing show, coinciding with the iconic Lyonnais festival, will add to the magic of the illuminations that transform the city each year.
Imagined by the Projektil collective and the Fever platform (already behind Enlightment, another immersive success at the Palais de la Bourse), this 30-minute experience will immerse you in a captivating visual and sound adventure. Through 4 scenes, Genesis will narrate the first 7 days of the creation of the world. A dazzling show featuring light plays and projections that will bring forth the fundamental elements: light, water, earth, and plants.
A dreamlike journey into the heart of the elements
Each scene will highlight the beauty of nature and the origins of life in a story that is as poetic as it is spectacular. An immersive celebration of the elements that promises to captivate both young and old, while adding an artistic and spiritual touch to this festive season.
Sessions will take place several days a week, starting at 5:30 PM, and will run until the end of January 2025 or even longer... It's the perfect opportunity to extend the festive spirit of the Festival of Lights or to enjoy an enchanting moment after the celebrations.
