Closed since February, the Zara store at Confluence is finally reopening this Saturday, November 8 after an extensive renovation and expansion project, according to information from Progrès. While waiting for security commission approval set for the day before, teams are finalizing the last details ahead of the grand reopening. The store is expanding from 1,921 m² to over 3,000 m² spread over two floors, now occupying the former space of Decathlon. This means even more trends, capsule collections, and fitting rooms (where we promise not to go too wild).
The largest Zara store in the Lyon metropolitan area
With its 3,000 m², this Zara becomes the largest in all of Greater Lyon. The store. The Spanish brand offers a true flagship here in a clean and bright setting, staying true to its "cozy" and minimalist concept. The interior has been entirely reimagined by workers who came straight from Spain to reflect the brand's new standards. The women's, men's, and children's collections will now be brought together in the same fluid and stylish space. An XXL shopping experience that strengthens Zara's presence in the capital of the Gauls, already well-established in Part-Dieu and Presqu’île.
A breath of fresh air for the shopping center
During the renovation period, Zara set up a temporary store on the upper floor of the shopping center to avoid leaving its loyal customers in a fashion drought. With this reopening, Westfield Confluence gains a new fashion powerhouse, and it's not over yet: Bershka will move into the former Monoprix location in early 2026. Quite simply, the neighborhood is becoming a real fashion hub!is more than ever the must-visit shopping spot in the southern Lyon area.
