Get ready for three days of creativity and delicious food, all set to an eclectic program! From Friday, September 13 to Sunday, September 15, 2024, the Lyon food court HEAT, located in the Confluence district, will host a new edition of the French Weekend by 1664. Each day will have its own theme! And for the 2024 edition, it's Lyon artist Bleg who is designing the event's visual identity. His goal? To highlight French and Lyonese know-how while adding a creative touch to this must-attend event.

Three Days of Fun Activities and Great Food

Friday night kicks off the event with an evening dedicated to music. Live performances and DJ sets will heat up the sustainable, inclusive, and supportive HEAT food hall. Saturday is all about creativity! Throughout the day and into the evening, HEAT will turn into a true open-air workshop with street art, participatory murals, ceramics, and other artistic workshops to let your imagination run wild. Then, the night will continue with music from local artists and DJ collectives.

Sunday will be all about great feasting! During the day, there will be workshops on beer and food. You can even learn how to make pickles with beer! And for the curious ones, an emerging creators' market will take place on Saturday and Sunday, giving you a chance to leave with some local treasures!

A committed partnership between HEAT and 1664

This weekend, HEAT will offer a delightful culinary program filled with flavors featuring local and dedicated restaurateurs who highlight the use of short supply chains and products from sustainable local agriculture to create recipes connected to beer. By teaming up with this unmissable culinary and festive event, 1664 further strengthens its commitment to agroecology and sustainable transport. As a reminder, 1664 beers are brewed in France with an increasing amount of barley grown through agroecological practices (50% by 2024, aiming for 100% by 2026), and 70% of the beer production is then shipped by train. Let's meet up at HEAT! !
