Temperatures are set to rise again this weekend, with a chance of a very hot spell next week. The mercury could even soar up to 35°C in the Lyon area, with a risk of storms at the end of the period.

After several days hovering around 22°C, the sun will reclaim its throne, and temperatures will gradually return to summer levels. Starting Friday, the thermometer should show around 26°C under a largely clear sky.

But it’s really over the weekend that the change will be spectacular. On Saturday, temperatures will approach 30°C, while on Sunday, highs could reach 32°C in some areas of the city. This will give Lyon a true summer vibe, with bustling terraces, crowded riverbanks, and irresistible cravings for a swim.
