Hey there, how's it going today? I hope your day is awesome, full of joy and laughter. Life is full of amazing moments, so let's treasure each and every one of them. Parking, the Lyon puzzle As of next September, 900 parking spaces that were previously free will disappear in the 9th arrondissement of Lyon. According to information from Le Progrès, the decision was made during an information meeting. It concerns the areas of Valmy and Gorge de Loup. Until now free, the 900 parking spaces will now cost between 35€ and 80€ per day. For residential parking, residents will have to pay 15€ (a rate reserved for large families and vulnerable people), 30€ or 45€ per month depending on the size of their vehicle in addition to an annual subscription of 40€. These 900 spaces are among the few free parking spaces in the neighborhood and more generally in Lyon. This news will dig a little deeper into the wallets of the people of Lyon and will obviously cause some grumbling.
