After an incredible first season, the series is ready to shine the spotlight once again. Broadcast on Amazon Prime Video, Dear You quickly found its audience and topped the platform's most-watched programs for several weeks. Directed by Julien Carpentier, the series follows Alma, a young Parisian thrown into the plush backstage of a luxury hotel. For season 2, filming is set to begin in February, with a much-anticipated stop in Lyon.

Lyon: The XXL backdrop for season 2

The capital of Gaul once again proves to be the perfect playground for fiction. Part of the storyline takes place in a palace directly inspired by the InterContinental Hôtel-Dieu, which was already beautifully showcased in the first season. Cameras, extras, and co...;thus, they will once again invest in Lyon, confirming the city's attractiveness for major French and international productions.

The series is casting men and women aged 18 to 65 with a chic and elegant look. The profiles sought should embody high-end guests, with a polished, upscale, and refined appearance. The setting is clearly one of luxury, fashion, and premium standing. Here, there's no need to play a speaking role, but to project a credible presence worthy of a five-star palace.

How to apply to appear in the series

The casting focuses on naturalness and elegance, without any artifice. Candidates must send three recent photos taken simply with a phone, without professional shooting through this form. Outfits should come from the actors' own wardrobes and should be suitable for wearing during filming. Hair and makeup should remain subtle to reflect the actual look of the extras on set.

The base fee is set at 98 euros gross, with possible adjustments depending on the schedule, especially for night shoots. On the casting side, season 2 will see the return of Carla Poquin, Louka Malieva, Terence Telle, and Juliette Katz. It's a golden opportunity for those in Lyon to experience the behind-the-scenes of a successful series... and to shine, even if just briefly, on Prime Video.
