In Lyon, the Brotteaux is home to a brand new kind of school, far from traditional classrooms. Gone are the math tests and science presentations; welcome to the world of live performance with NOWA, the brand-new artistic school created by William Arribart. At just 27 years old, this Lyon magician, already celebrated for his shows that blend grand illusion and musical comedy, has just brought to life a completely wild project: a school where you can learn to dance, sing, act… and make a dove disappear with a snap of your fingers. Just that.

Located just a stone's throw from its former theater, Gai Savoir, NOWA offers a complete immersion into a stage universe where the boundaries between disciplines are erased. To elevate this project to another level, William surrounded himself with some extraordinary talent. Alongside him is star dancer Natalia Osipova, a true international icon of ballet, who co-signs this hybrid, ambitious, and inspiring adventure. Together, they've created a program where you can learn everything from mastering the basics of magic to tapping your way like in Broadway. Nothing less!

A program for kids and adults

On Mondays, we play wizards with cards and ropes. On Saturdays, we give our all on stage in musical theater classes led by pros in singing, acting, dancing... and even sword fighting! Because yes, at NOWA, we also train in the art of special effects. The goal: to create well-rounded artists, capable of captivating an audience like on the grand theater stage.

Designed for children as young as 6 and adults seeking thrilling stage experiences, the NOWA school breaks all the rules. Here, every student can create their own customized learning path, with subscriptions or à la carte classes. And with summer workshops starting July 7, the magic can begin right away. William Arribart promises: “No school trains in singing, dancing, theater, and magic.” Now, it's a reality.
