Starting from April 2nd, residents of the Lyon Metropolis will have the opportunity to enjoy three months of free public transportation or a twelve-month subscription to the Vélo'v bike-sharing service. A difficult choice to make, as both options are attractive!

This initiative, called "Mobility Discovery", aims to encourage citizens to try alternatives to individual cars. By opting for public transportation, users will have access to the TCL network as well as the carpooling service "En covoit", ideal for shared trips. As for fans of cycling, they will be able to ride freely for a year thanks to the Vélo'v subscription.

TCL, Vélo'v, or Citiz?

Youth aged 18 to 25 will also have the opportunity to enjoy a year of free access to the Free Vélo'v service. And for those who prefer the flexibility of carsharing, the Citiz subscription will offer them three months.Access granted with a €75 credit included.

To take advantage of these tempting offers, you still need to meet two conditions: residing in the Lyon Metropolis and committing to not having subscribed to the chosen service in the last 36 months. The ultimate goal being that owners of Crit'Air 5, 4, or unclassified vehicles decide to abandon their cars. This new initiative, adopted unanimously, will benefit from a budget of 2 million euros.
