An unprecedented measure in France is about to come into effect in the Lyon metro: the ban on advertising for airlines and the promotion of airplanes. Lyon is thus becoming a pioneer in this initiative, with no other region having dared to take this step yet. According to Actu Lyon, cars could also be targeted, but Cityz Media, the advertising operator on the network, remains silent on this matter for now.
A First in France
By prioritizing advertising spaces for local actors, with 65% of visibility allocated to the local economy and events, Lyon is supporting its economic fabric. Starting from April 1st, the TCL network will undergo a major transformation:
