It's time to dust off your old bike or gather up the courage to go for a walk in the rain (the weather forecast is not looking good). As every year, the Lyon TCL network takes a day off for Labor Day. In other words: no transportation will be running for 24 hours. This includes tramways, buses, metros, and funiculars.

Only 270 Vélov' stations will be open, with the service available 24/7. A sort of tradition in Lyon, this complete shutdown of the public transportation system on May 1st raises many questions, especially now that city residents are constantly encouraged to leave their cars behind. It seems like Labor Day is also a holiday for ecologists.
