Stéphane Selo, a passionate photographer of architecture and landscapes, has let his wild imagination run free to bring to life a series of photographs as astonishing as they are unsettling. Entitled "Le Monde d'Après", this collection (unearthed by Actu Lyon) explores a Lyon transformed by artificial intelligence, projecting the city into a post-apocalyptic future where nature inevitably takes back its rights on the city's main buildings.lyon apocalypse ia vieux-lyon

A fusion of art and artificial intelligence

Armed with his camera, Stéphane Selo first captured shots of Lyon, immortalizing iconic landmarks such as the Jacobins fountain, the Fourvière basilica, the Auditorium and the Confluences museum. Then, with a touch of AI, he altered these images, letting technology bring a new reality to his vision. His project, called "Lyon Apocalypse IA," transforms the cityscape into a futuristic, surreal world, merging the beauty of the past with the innovation of the future.

Artistic touches before fine-tuning the work with some final adjustments. A subtle marriage of traditional art and cutting-edge technology.

When nature takes back its place in Lyon

Under the digital wand of AI, Lyon is transformed. The monuments that have stood the test of time seem to crumble, invaded by vegetation, the abandoned streets, leaving a silence as heavy as it is mysterious. An atmosphere worthy of the greatest cinematic dystopias of anticipation. Images that evoke instantanelement lyonnais!"/>
