In a real estate landscape marked by a slight decrease in prices in recent months (-2.1% on average), some streets maintain exceptional attractiveness, displaying prices well above the national average. The website Meilleurs Agents has revealed its ranking of the most expensive streets within the 50 largest French metropolises. While the prestigious Rue de Furstemberg, nestled in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, tops the list with a price per square meter of 24,272 euros, a street in Lyon stands out in this ranking. It is Rue Gasparin, located in the 2nd arrondissement, where the price per square meter reaches 6,743 euros.

5 Parisian streets at the top

However, it is worth noting that the Parisian monopoly remains unbeatable, with the 5 most expensive streets of the 50 largest cities in France concentrated in the capital, displaying prices well over 20,000 euros per square meter. After Paris, it is the coastal cities of Cannes, Antibes, and Nice that attract investors, with some of the most expensive streets in the country.

For comparison, in the rue Gabriel Calamand in Saint-Étienne, the most expensive street in the city, the average price per square meter is 2,165 euros, nearly eleven times less than in the prestigious rue de Furstemberg and over three times less than rue Gasparin. Numbers that make you dizzy...
