Honestly, we never really went to parties on Charlemagne street. But recently, we discovered this amazing hidden cocktail bar behind a small storefront. Under new management since January 2018, Café Kot is a paradise for cat lovers, with a friendly atmosphere, yummy drinks, and affordable prices. We decided to give it a try and we instantly fell in love.
Creative cocktails, amazing happy hour, and renowned DJ
Comfortably seated in one of the specially chosen armchairs for a total immersion, we are ready to honor the menu. We have a choice of about ten creative cocktails, tons of different spirits (10 vodkas, 10 gins, 10 whiskeys, 10 rums, etc.) and draft beers. But one of the major highlights of Café Kot is its happy hour from 4pm to 8pm, which offers about thirty classic cocktails at the unbeatable price of €6.50 and a pint of blonde beer at €4.50.
Café Kot is more than just a place for drinks, it also serves a range of small dishes like tapas, delicious charcuterie, and Pierre's terrines (made in Lyon 7th). It's not only a cocktail bar during happy hour, but a bustling spot throughout the day. Students and professionals alike come here to savor coffee and tasty croque monsieurs for lunch.
