Lyon placed on heatwave orange alert, nearly 40° expected at the beginning of the week

Météo France has issued an orange alert for heatwaves in the Rhône department and the city of Lyon. Temperatures are expected to reach a scorching 38 or even 39°C between Monday and Tuesday.
