The second-hand store Secand has opened in Lyon 7th, at 52 avenue Jean Jaurès, in July with an innovative, practical, and very convenient concept. Founded by Amélie, this business model has already been successful in Northern Europe for about ten years. The idea is simple: to allow people who want to get rid of their clothes to do so without fuss and with support.

Secand offers a concept called "Rent-a-Rack", which allows you to rent your own selling space. Basically, you sort through your wardrobe (which is the hardest part), choose the number of pieces you want to sell, and rent your space online. The rest is taken care of by the shop! Once your rental is over, you can come back to collect the items or leave them to donate to a charity, it's up to you! The little bonus is that you get 65% of the money generated from sales. Not bad, right?

Two options for you

If you also want to sell clothes you no longer wear, the emptying dressing room offers two options. The first one: the Autonomous Dressing rental where you rent the space you need according to the number of items and the duration. You label and hang for 0.75€ per item per week. The second option, for the lazy ones (no judgment): the Accompanied Dressing rental. There, you don't have to manage anything at all, the brand takes care of the setup and everything else. Each item is charged at 0.85€ per week.

And if it's the thrill of buying that excites you, you can find fashion items and local designer pieces for men, women, and children. Beyond its undeniable ecological aspect, the address aims to be a true place for sharing and exchanging ideas about new consumption habits.
